Hey Craig,

The KY Open was going to be at Bellarmine but the organizer working on that could not pull it off so we're looking into new sites.

St Francis High School is one potential location that I have secured but we're waiting on details. The VFW is another potential location I am working on as a second option. We are also looking at a site in Lexington. We should be able to make an announcement about it within the next week, possibly sooner.

Here are some details for the 2015 Ky Open. I apologize to everyone for the delay in the details but looking for a site is always hectic and of course the passing of Steve has me still on edge somewhat. But I have confirmed a site and dates. Here they are;

Ky Open June 13-14: Univ of Kentucky, Patterson Office Tower (big white tower near Student Center),

Here are directions: http://www.uky.edu/studentcenter/parking

More details to follow

Ah ok - I just read this post when I woke up before work. I contacted St Francis and told them we switched locations.

The hotel was going to be $1,200, then St Francis was going to be $500, but the UK site is free!! Good job Randas.

Attention all junior players!!! An anonymous donation has been made for a special separate prize for the Kentucky Open. This will be called the "Stephen Dillard junior upset prize" and will be awarded to the junior player with the biggest upset. If there are no upsets I will award the prize to the junior with the best overall score. Also don't forget the two highest finishing Kentucky Junior players will qualify for the Junior State Championship to be held on July 11-12. Good luck to everyone.

Somewhere I was supposed to say that  abounty on me in the under section was not going to be had . Alas I forgot to ask off work and will be unable to play. The bounty was shifted to Mr. Ryan Ward if he plays, If not then we will see. If somebody sees this and knows where it should be be, let me know or just repost this note there for me. Thankd

Thanks so much to Jerry Baker, Randas Burns, Miami Fugate, and all others who helped make this event such an impressive event.  It was a lot of fun to play in, and I appreciate everyone's hard work.  Job well done everyone on a great tournament.

Appreciate it, but most of the praise goes to Thomas Priest.

I was very happy we had such a large turnout. I was even more happy that the air conditioning was actually working in the playing rooms!

And thank you Jerry for allowing me to play in the event while you took care of any emergencies and got lunch for Thomas and me the first day. Because of you, Don, and Miami I was able to actually make a profit on the Ky Open.

A very well-run event - thank you to all who made it possible!

Don't you know that in a race all the runners compete, but only one wins the prize? So then, run to win!
