Do we know all the participants for the Kings?

It is being held concurrently with my June 6 tournament as a section of its own.

We have four players participating in the Kentucky Kings event this Saturday. It will be the following; Matt Hassen - Lexington Chess Club William Fuller - Meijer chess tournament Daniel Brennan - Highland Chess Club Mike Thomas - Wednesday Library chess club Remember that there is no entry fee or prize fund for this event. The winner gets free entry into the KY Open and a spot in this years KY Closed Championship Event. In the event of a tie there will be a blitz playoff - a best 2 out of 3. If they're tied after that it will be an Armageddon blitz game. White will have 5 minutes and Black will have 3 minutes with draw odds. The higher rated player will choose their color. Good luck to everyone!

I'd like to congratulate Matt Hassen on winning the Kentucky Kings event. It was certainly a very tough field. As a result he will be entering the 2015 Adult Closed event and will have a free entry into the Ky Open if he so wishes. Thanks to everyone for playing.
