Everyone,

If you attend the Meijer event and you want soda, pay for a soda and all is well.

If you steal soda using the conveniently placed styrofoam cups, which are to be used for water or purchased coffee, then you are not an asset to the tournament and the store will bar your attendence as I was told tonight.

I will be posting this on Facebook too. If it persists, I will call people out who I know have done this and deal with you in a way that satisfies the Meijer GM.

People, if a store lets you use its venue for free to play chess, then you support that store, you don't STEAL from it.

Yes, if it continues the store will kick us out. My contingency plan is to use my back up site and then make the event "members only" and allow pretty much everyone to go except people I know who cost us the site. This is hopefully not our destiny.
