Just a friendly reminder of the Benjamin Franklin Open this Saturday in Paducah!

Come out and play, and check out some of what Paducah has to offer afterwards.

I always buy a pint for the person(s) that drive the farthest.

Just wanted bring y'all up to speed on how the BFO went last weekend. It was an OK turn out for a first time event. We had a few folks from all over the region; Indiana, Tennessee, Illinios, and Kentucky, of course.

$300 was given out in prizes, and one young man returned his prize money, requesting that it be dotated to someone that couldn't afford their membership or entry fee! That was pretty neat.

The local news station did an interview, too, and it made it to the 10:00 news that night (i"m pretty sure they ran the story because UK lost, but htat's just my silly theory).

I'll restructure this event next year, with more sections, more prizes, and decrease the entry fee.

Not exactly sure how to bring players in from other parts of Kentucky, but I'm always open to suggestions.
