Hi Everyone,

I want to encourage you to mark your calendar for the March 19 Greater Louisville Open. Craig Hines is directing this time to allow certain local players the chance to play instead of always having to direct! A nice prize fund is in place for this event.

There has been precious little adult slow chess action in the Louisville area in recent years (besides the Ky. Open each June). With the new Yussman Center now up and running, this event is a welcome addition to the tournament calendar. Craig is the ISCA president and just wants to help provide more adult opportunities for this area if he can. If this event is a success, he is willing to provide similar events in the future, as well.

Scholastic players are also welcome to play for the $$!

Thanks for your support!

Don't you know that in a race all the runners compete, but only one wins the prize? So then, run to win!
