Kentucky's own Josh Osbourn (Winchester) played in the recent 2011 SPICE Cup Amateur Open division taking 6th place. Congratulations Josh!

Josh attends Texas Tech University on a partial chess scholarship.  Josh is getting close to becoming a National Expert.

Since I now have your attention....   the WCC14 (Open) is being held this Saturday at 9:30 AM.  Our tourneys in Winchester, since August, have enjoyed seeing a National Expert play along with players of 1700 and 1600 range ratings.
