We have a rated USCF Blitz event the last Wed of each month in Lexington, KY. There is a small cash prize and its FREE to enter! Bluegrass Chess Club located at Tates Creek Golf Course, back building behind the pool.

We meet each Wed at 8pm-11pm.  We usually have at minimum 2 masters. We have a wide range of players attending on a regular basis including the current K-3 State Champion. If you have any questions contact  Don Lutz at (502) 921-3982

Just wanted to give an update.. We currently have 2 Masters, at least 2 Experts, some A/B players and the current K-3 and K-1 Champion showing up each week. If you are near Lexington on a Wed night... Try us out...

Great to see.  Now if someone organizes an event on Tuesdays, and Some one takes Fridays it is possible to live in Kentucky and play an event every day of the week.

I thought about Fridays. But then I realized it'd likely have super low attendance. That is why we're running Wednesday ones. Once we get some more people at our Louisville based Wednesday event, we might challenge Lexington to chess as well as darts hehe
