About Me
I'm a special education teacher at Heath Elementary School and the current chess coach for HES and HMS. I have assisted or created the chess teams in Graves County, McCracken County, Christian County, and Fulton Independent since 2009. My first year teaching, I started their Graves County High School's chess club for my intern leadership project. GCHS offers a chess scholarship that has since 2015 paid out over $2000. I am not particulary talented at the game of chess, but I love to play, and teach, and give others the opportunity to play and learn.
